Awarefy's Foundational Research Background - CBT and ACT
Awarefy aims to be more than just a self-care application by grounding its design and supervision on evidence-based research in cooperation with the Behavioral Medicine/Hiroaki Kumano Laboratory at Waseda University. The conversational scenarios featured in the app draw from techniques practiced in genuine counseling and psychotherapy sessions, derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
